One Pro Sports Management (OPSM) is hosting its first Pro Showcase of the calendar year in Toronto, Canada from January 11-13 at the Ontario Soccer Center.
The showcase will feature 60 of the top players handpicked from a pool of over 450 applicants. Several professional clubs are attending the event, including Valour FC, Vancouver FC, HFX Wanderers, and York United FC from the Canadian Premier League as well as teams from MLS Next Pro, USL Championship, and Finnish leagues.
The goal of the combine is to give young players across Canada, America, and abroad the platform to reach their goals and achieve their dreams by putting them in front of high level professional scouts in need of players.
All of this has been spearheaded by the Addai brothers. Jeff and Godwin Addai founded OPSM and have worked years on making this project come true.
Jeff, a current professional player and agent for OPSM spoke about the combine.
“We are very excited to host the upcoming Toronto combine, this will be the first combine to kick off the year,” said Jeff. “We have over 8 professional clubs from across Canada, USA and Europe coming into the mecca of Toronto, to scout the most talented players who were selected out of 450 players who applied. We only selected the best 60.”
“As an agency, we are very excited to provide this platform to the youth to be able to achieve their goals and visions and dreams, making it as a professional player. We are excited to be able to provide this platform. Over these three days, players will experience high level training from pro coaches, intense 11v11 matches, and filmed games. We are excited for this to be happening at the Ontario Soccer Center in Vaughan and we would love for people to come out and show their support to these talented young men over the course of this three day event.”
This is one of many professional combines OPSM have recently announced for players around North America, with another combined taking place in Oakland, California later this month and in Vancouver, Canada in February.
The Pro Transfer Window Showcase will give players a once in the lifetime opportunity. OPSM is inviting all Toronto soccer lovers to the event to watch high-level soccer and support these players competing for soccer’s golden ticket.
