Seattle native goalkeeper Jordan Hadden has signed to Sporting Kristina in the Finland Kolmonen (3rd Division).
Jordan will join fellow OPSM Prospect success stories Charlie Crane and Sherwin Emmanuel at Kristina.
Jordan, Charlie, and Sherwin were all professional prospects that subscribed to OPSM’s Pro Pathway membership program where they were advised and guided by OPSM for a number of months before earning the opportunity to play with Sporting Kristina.
After stops with Stode IF, New York Athletic Club, and Duluth FC, Charlie Crane arrives at Sporting Kristina ready to boss the midfield and make his mark with the squad. Charlie’s class on the ball and creative thinking in midfield makes him a true midfield maestro.
Sherwin Emmanuel brings a wealth of experience to Kristina and a true understanding of the kind of effort and commitment it takes on the individual level to win matches and keep clean sheets. OPSM has seen Sherwin continue to grow under our prospect management program and are so happy for him to have received this opportunity along with Charlie and Jordan.
As for Jordan, after a college career where he had to scratch and claw to prove himself at Seattle University, Jordan was able to play with the Seattle Sounders’ second team in 2017.
A two-year stint with Sounders two ended abruptly when Jordan was told that the Seattle Sounders Club would be using their second team in a more academy-focused direction, meaning that players like himself with four-year collegiate playing experience in their mid-twenties would no longer be favored over younger prospects.
Jordan then joined Seattle-based NPSL side OSA FC. It was here that Jordan received word from a close friend and OPSM athlete Noah Cavanaugh, that OPSM could help Jordan in his search for a professional opportunity. So, Jordan signed up for OPSM’s Prospect Management.
After a successful combine in May where Jordan showed really well and continuous hard work and dedication, this opportunity with Sporting Kristina came about and had him aboard a flight to join his new teammates in Kristianstad.
