Sean Young (born April 20, 2001) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Loudoun United FC in the USL Championship. A native of Victoria, British Columbia, Young is a historic figure for Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League, where he developed through the local “Island” pathway before becoming the first local player to sign a professional contract with the club in 2020. Standing 6’2″, the box-to-box midfielder made 157 appearances across all competitions for the Tridents—a club record—and played a key role in their 2021 CPL Championship victory. After a standout 2025 season where he remained a vital presence in the midfield, Young made history again in February 2026 by becoming the first Pacific FC player to be transferred to the USL Championship, signing a two-year contract with Virginia-based Loudoun United.
