Marcus Godinho (born June 28, 1997) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a full-back for the Halifax Wanderers in the Canadian Premier League. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Godinho developed through the Toronto FC Academy and played in the USL before embarking on a diverse international career that included stints with Heart of Midlothian in Scotland, FSV Zwickau in Germany, and Korona Kielce in Poland’s top division. He also spent two seasons in Major League Soccer with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, where he was part of the squad that won the 2022 Canadian Championship. After most recently playing for Degerfors IF in the Swedish Allsvenskan in late 2025, he returned to Canada in January 2026 to sign with the Wanderers. On the international stage, Godinho has earned five senior caps for the Canada Men’s National Team, including appearances at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
