In 2016, Benati commenced her soccer journey with FC London in League1 Ontario. During her inaugural season, she was selected for the mid-season league All-Star team, which played against the PLSQ All-Star team. At the conclusion of that season, she earned recognition as a Second Team All-Star. In the subsequent year, 2017, she was honoured as a Third Team All-Star, and in 2018, she advanced to First Team All-Star status. Her achievements continued in 2019 when she was awarded the league’s Midfielder of the Year title and named a First Team All-Star once again. In 2021, she distinguished herself by being recognized as the league’s Top Midfielder and a First Team All-Star. The following year, she assumed the role of team captain and was subsequently awarded the league’s Most Valuable Player, the title of Midfielder of the Year, and a First Team All-Star designation at the end of the season.

In August 2022, Benati signed with the Norwegian club Medkila, competing in the top-tier 1. divisjon. In January 2023, she transitioned to the Portuguese club Valadares Gaia in the Campeonato Nacional Feminino. In 2024, she was recognized once again as the league’s Midfielder of the Year and named a First Team All-Star when she returned to League 1. In January 2025, Benati signed with Ottawa Rapid FC in the Northern Super League, marking her as the club’s first-ever signing ahead of their inaugural season. On May 15, 2025, she scored her first goal in a decisive 3-0 victory over Vancouver Rise FC.
