Kunle Tokode (born 2009) is a dynamic forward and winger currently developing within the Al-Sadd Academy system in Qatar. A standout talent in the Class of 2027, he began his journey at Sefa Soccer Academy at age 10 and progressed through the BC Soccer Premier League with Langley United before joining the Whitecaps in 2022. Known for his creative 1v1 ability and technical composure, Tokode was named the “Player’s Player of the Year” for the Whitecaps U-16 MLS Academy in 2025 and was recently highlighted as an “MLS Next Player to Watch.” On the international stage, he possesses dual eligibility and has represented both Canada and Nigeria at the youth level, notably participating in Nigeria’s U-17 national team camps in 2024 and 2025 as part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme.
