Tomas Pondeca (born October 10, 2001) is an American professional soccer player and futsal standout known for his technical versatility as an attacking midfielder. After gaining recognition as an Allstate All-American at Marcus High School and playing professionally for Paris ACASA in France, Pondeca joined North Texas SC via an open trial in 2023, eventually helping the team capture the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup. His performance earned him a first-team contract with FC Dallas, where he made his Major League Soccer debut in June 2024 before spending the 2025 season on loan with New Mexico United in the USL Championship. Beyond the traditional pitch, Pondeca is a key figure for the U.S. Men’s National Futsal Team, having represented the United States at the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup and earning the Young Player Award at the 2021 CONCACAF Futsal Championship.
